2 dead, 4 wounded in shooting at Houston apartment complex

Authorities say two people are dead and four others wounded following a shooting outside an apartment complex in Houston.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Thomas Gilliland says the incident occurred Sunday evening at the Haverstock Hills apartments on the city’s northeast side.

Two men were killed in the shooting, and two other men and two women were wounded. Gilliland says the four wounded are hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

None of the people shot have been identified.

Authorities say the shooting followed an argument between two groups of people. The spokesman says three suspects were inside a vehicle when one man stepped out of the car and opened fire.

No suspects are in custody and the sheriff’s office is investigating.
