‘Taunting neighbors’ leads to shots fired, one man hospitalized

Police say a feud between neighbors led to a man being hospitalized after a shooting in Sunland Park Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the 100 block of Calle Madera around 4 p.m.

Officials say the feud began Friday with “taunting” between neighbors.

Details are limited, but police say at least three shots were fired and a man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The investigation continues.
