DWI suspect has prior conviction; wanted on outstanding warrants, police say

A DWI suspect arrested after colliding with a vehicle Saturday night had a prior DWI conviction and was wanted on several outstanding warrants, police say.

Alfredo Anaya, 31, was charged with his second DWI. Anaya was backing out of a driveway on the 7800 block of North Loop when he allegedly struck another vehicle.

Police arrived at the scene and took Anaya into custody after learning he was driving drunk, officials said.

Police say Anaya had oustanding warrants for Violation of a Protective Order, Assault-Family Violence, and Burglary of Habitation.

Anaya was jailed without bond due to the outstanding warrants.
