UPDATE: Police say alcohol, speed factors in deadly crash

One person is dead following a crash overnight Sunday.

Police say the crash happened shortly after midnight at the intersection of Global Reach Drive and George Perry Boulevard.

Police say a male driver was speeding when he lost control of the car, striking the center median and causing the car to roll over. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. A 19-year-old female passenger was taken to Del Sol with serious injuries and another 18-year-old female passenger was taken to UMC also with serious injuries.

Police will not identify the man killed, pending notification of next of kin. Stay with ABC-7 for the latest.
