Suspect in stolen credit cards case sought by police

Las Cruces Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for any information regarding a man suspected of using a stolen credit card at a local supermarket.

Las Cruces Police Investigators learned someone broke into a vehicle that was parked on the 4100 block of Seville Way off Pegasus Road on June 16.

Authorities say several credit cards were stolen from the vehicle.

The victim reported that by noon on that same day, one of the stolen credit cards was used four times at the Walmart store on Rinconada Boulevard, and once at a local Starbucks coffeehouse.

Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect as he left the Walmart store.

LC Crime Stoppers is offering up to $1,000 for information that could help lead to the identification of the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

The Crime Stoppers number is operational 24 hours a day and you do not have to give your name to collect a reward
