2 arrested after investigators allegedly find 134 bundles of pot inside Horizon City home

Detectives working with an area narcotics task force arrested two men accused of being in possession of more than 100 pounds of marijuana.

Ernesto Diaz-Lenero, 52; and David Adrian Ruelas-Granado, 25, of Juarez Mexico; were both charged with Possession of Marijuana (over 50 pounds, under 2,000 pounds).

Both men were arrested September 19, 2017 after a search of a residence on the 12000 block of Sun Bridge in Horizon City.

During the search, investigators allegedly found 114 bundles of marijuana weighing 134 pounds in the laundry room of the residence, police said.

Both men were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under $60,000 bonds.
