1 sent to hospital with serious injuries after motorcycle crash near UMC

One person was sent to the hospital in serious condition following a motorcycle crash on the Eastside near University Medical Center, according to authorities.

The crash happened at Gateway East Blvd. and Raynolds St.

Gateway East and the Raynolds overpass appears to be closed. Traffic should avoid the area.
