Man allegedly threatens another man and shoots his car

An El Paso man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly threatening a man with a gun and firing bullets at the man’s car in two separate incidents, police said

Alphonso Glasper, 22, was arrested by the El Paso Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Deadly Conduct discharge Firearm.

The investigation revealed that Glasper had a confrontation with a man and threatened him with a handgun on Sept. 26. On Monday, Glasper discharged a firearm at the victim’s car in the parking lot of Desert Tree Apartments .

Glasper was arrested for unrelated warrants on Wednesday with a .45 caliber handgun in his possession.

CAP still investigating and additional charges are anticipated.

Glasper is being held at the El Paso County Jail with bonds totaling $20,000.
