El Paso police investigate stabbing
El Paso police are investigating a stabbing that happened early Wednesday morning.
Police and emergency crews responded to reports of a stabbing on the 1600 block of George Dieter in East El Paso.
The northbound lanes of George Dieter were blocked briefly, but are now open.
The entrance to the Valley Ridge Apartments is taped off, according to the ABC-7 ‘Round the Clock crew. The crew also noticed blood splatters on the sidewalk.
An officer at the scene said it started as a fight between two men who are roommates at the apartment complex. Neighbors called 911 as the fight spilled outside of their apartment into the street.
Police said that both men were taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
