Las Cruces man arrested in connection to vehicle burglaries in West El Paso

Police officers investigating a rash of vehicle burglaries in West El Paso arrested a Las Cruces man suspected in 21 burglaries, police said.

Joaquin Tomesky, 28, was rebooked on October the 9th, 10th, and 12th on separate cases, including burglary of a vehicle, possession of marijuana, burglary of a habitation and aggravated robbery.

The suspect was arrested on the 6400 block of Mesa.

The bonds for Tomesky, who police said has two previous convictions of burglary of a vehicle, totaled $408,221.
