El Paso’s Animal Services Shelter holding special adoption event

The Animal Services Shelter is holding a “Flash Fall Sale” until Monday Oct. 30 to help place pets in homes due to the shelter reaching its capacity.
Officials say they now have more than 500 misplaced animals.
During the “Flash Fall Sale” adoption fees will be reduced to $5, or free with the donation of any of these items: dog or cat toys, new or uses towels and blankets,doggy or puppy food, cat or kitten food, wire kennels, and plastic carriers.
In addition to the animals already being spayed or neutered, all adopted pets will also have their age-appropriate vaccinations, micro-chip, and City license.
The shelter is located at 5001 Fred Wilson Ave.
