Woman injured in 9 vehicle pileup dies
UPDATE: Police say Rosa Luna, the woman critically injured in a freeway wreck Thursday, died the following day.

An El Paso woman remains in intensive care after a nine car collision the closed I-10 for hours Thursday.
El Paso Police say Rosa Luna was in her SUV when a semi, and three others cars crashed into each other.
Police said the 18-wheeler didn’t see traffic backed up and crashed into Luna’s SUV, causing a chain reaction.
A friend of Luna’s reached out to ABC-7 and said Luna was on her way to work when the crash happened. Two other people were also taken to the hospital. Luna’s friend told ABC-7 Luna was in the ICU with limited visitation and they weren’t being told much about her condition.
Luna works at job corps as a mental consultant, where she counsels students.
“She’s a very humble, awesome and beautiful person, she has a huge spirit, she’s very giving. Right there at the job corp she’s helped a lot of lives with students who have mental issues, problems,” said Araceli Norte, her friend.
El Paso Police said no charges have been filed and the investigation is ongoing.
