Alleged child rapist found working in West El Paso car dealership
Deputy constables, US Marshals and Sunland Park Police arrested a man wanted in Sunland Park, New Mexico on five counts of sexual penetration of a child.
The El Paso County Precinct 1 Constable Office said in a news release Luis Fernando Moreno was located at 11:30 am November 9, 2017.
Moreno was arrested while at work at an auto dealership in West El Paso.
“Constables located Moreno at his employment and arrested him without incident,” a news release states.
Moreno was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility and is being held without bond.
Sunland Park Police told ABC-7 Moreno was living in Sunland Park on a resident visa. Moreno is charged with a single count of first degree criminal sexual penetration of a child under 13 and four fourth-degree counts of criminal sexual penetration of a child between 13 and 16 years of age.
Investigators seized Moreno’s computers and cell phone. Additional charges may be filed when the investigation is complete, Sunland Park Police said.
