Man accused of threatening public servant charged following October barber shop incident

A man accused of threatening a public servant has been charged with obstruction or retaliation following an October incident that occurred at an East Side barber shop.

El Paso’s Police Department’s Gang Investigations unit have charged 38-year-old Roger Dominguez after allegedly approaching the 45-year-old victim and appearing to making motions as if he was reaching for a weapon. Police described the victim as a public servant.

Dominguez was booked into the El Paso County Jail on December 26 on a $7,500 bond.

The incident allegedly occurred at Mando’s Barber Shop at 2000 N. Trevino where the victim was getting a haircut.

Police said Dominguez fled the scene prior to their arrival.
