El Paso police investigate deadly rollover on US-54 North near Altura Ave
El Paso police are investigating a deadly rollover on the northbound lanes of US-54 just before the Altura Avenue overpass.
The rollover happened around noon on Sunday. The department’s Special Traffic Investigation’s unit has blocked off all northbound lanes.
Emergency dispatchers tell ABC-7 two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The El Paso Police Department tweeted at 1:21 p.m. confirmed there was a traffic fatality.
