NM State Police investigating deadly fiery wreck in Anthony

New Mexico State Police said a crash that occurred at the Anthony Gap earlier today caused two cars to catch on fire and one fatality.

The incident occurred on New Mexico State Road 404 near mile marker 5 and the Anthony Gap will be closed for four to five hours, according to NM State Police.

Police have notified schools in the area.

Investigation of the incident continues and updates will be made when ABC-7 receives further information.
