4 arrested after investigation into auto thefts

El Paso Police officers conducting separate auto theft investigations arrested four people during a warrant round-up, police officials said.

Police arrested 17-year-old Jean Carlo Flores on a charge of Theft over $2,500 and under $30,000. Flores was jailed on a $15,000 bond.

36-year-old Charles Anthony Johnson, an inmate at the county jail annex, was rebooked on a charge of Theft over $2,500 and under $30,000. Johnson’s bond for the theft charge was set at $15,000.

25-year-old Derrick Aurelius Bell was arrested on a charge of Insurance Fraud. He was jailed on a $5,000 bond.

22-year-old Raven Alexandria Thompson was arrested on a charge of Engaging In Organized Criminal Activity/Insurance Fraud. She was jailed on a $25,000 bond.

Additional arrests are pending. Police did not clarify whether the arrests are related or whether the suspects are members of an auto theft ring.

ABC-7 is working to obtain the criminal complaint affidavits to learn more about the investigation.
