UTEP’s losing skid continues, Miners fall to the UTSA Roadrunners, 63-59

Time is slowly fading for a UTEP team that still can’t find a way to win.

Saturday night at the Don Haskins Center, the Miners lost to the UT-San Antonio Roadrunners by a final of 63-59.

It was UTEP’s 6th straight loss.

The Miners made it interesting down the stretch only trailing by five points late in the game.

But UTEP couldn’t keep pace.

Too many shots, not enough of them going in.

The Miners attemped 25 three-point shots and only hit 7 of them.

The loss drops UTEP’s overall record to 7-17, 2-10 in C-USA.

The Miners will now hit the road for 4 of their last 6 games.

The road trip starts Thursday when UTEP visits Charlotte.
