4 individuals arrested in suspected Sunland Park burglary ring

A team of local law enforcement executed five warrants Tuesday morning for subjects suspected of operating a burglary ring in Sunland Park.

The warrants resulted in the arrests of Felipe Nuñez, 31, Joergeggio Perez Padilla, 19, Stephanie Hernandez, 28 and Valerie Espinoza, 23. One suspect, 28-year-old Andres Espinoza, remains at-large.

Sunland Park detectives investigated a home that was allegedly being used to store stolen items. During the search, numerous ATVs, a pick-up truck, a trailer and other items valued over $60,000 of stolen property were discovered, according to Sunland Park detectives.

The items were all recovered and returned to their owners, according to police.
