ICE deports undocumented woman wanted for homicide in Mexico

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement deported an undocumented woman from Mexico who is wanted for aggravated homicide and robbery in Mexico.

Customs officials turned over 32-year-old Marisol Delgado-Villela to Mexican authorities Thursday February, 22 at El Paso’s Stanton International Bridge.

Delgado-Villela was arrested by an Albuquerque fugitives operations team in February of 2017 and was served with a notice to appear before an immigration judge. The Fugitive Operations Team acted on a lead regarding the whereabouts of a woman who matched Delgado-Villela’s description.

She is wanted for the 2006 murder of Alvaro Herrera Barron, according to a Mexican arrest warrant. Delgado-Villela illegally entered the United States near El Paso in September of 2007, according to U.S. Customs.
