Highway signs memorialize Mesquite man killed in drunk driving crash

Family and friends gathered Friday afternoon to dedicate memorial signs to Patrick Nieto, a Mesquite man who was killed in a drunk driving crash in 2014.

The memorial was held where Nieto was killed on Highway 28 and Castillo Road in La Mesa.

The signs read, “Please Don’t Drink and Drive, In Memory of Patrick Nieto.”
