Job fairs to be held Wednesday, Thursday for multiple positions

There are a couple of opportunities to nail a new job at hiring fairs Wednesday and Thursday.

El Paso Community College is holding a job fair Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be held at the Valle Verde Campus Student Services Center 1st floor.

It’s open to students and the general public applying for both jobs and internships.

Additionally, Workforce Solutions Borderplex is holding a Summer Hiring Fair Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the El Paso Zoo’s Pavilion Events Center. That’s at 4001 E. Paisano Drive.

The event is free and open to all job seekers. Those interested in working in Advanced Manufacturing, Advanced Logistics, Business Services, Tourism and Construction industries are especially encouraged to attend.

Everyone attending the fairs are asked to dress to impress and bring several copies of their resumes.
