The win streak continues for the El Paso Chihuahuas

Mark down another win for the El Paso Chihuahuas.

The Chihuahuas’ win streak continues after the team won their 6th straight game Sunday afternoon by defeating the Las Vegas 51s.

The final score was 9-6 and the win improved El Paso’s overall record to 13-5.

The Chihuahuas have proven that being on the road is not a problem at all.

The win streak started Tuesday in Reno, NV with a 4 game sweep of the Reno Aces.

Saturday, the Chihuahuas began a 3 game series on the road against Las Vegas.

After taking the first game by a final of 13-4, the hits would continue on Sunday with the Chihuahuas getting 13 hits and bringing in 9 runs.

The series against Las Vegas wraps up Monday night and the Chihuahuas are hoping to complete the sweep.

The Chihuahuas will then return home on Wednesday for a 5 game series against the Salt Lake Bees.
