EPPD: Man arrested on DWI charge has 4 previous drunk driving convictions
The man arrested on suspicion of drunken driving has four previous Driving While Intoxicated convictions, El Paso Police said.
Police charged James F. Boulden, 32, with “DWI 3rd or More.”
Officers with a DWI task force spotted Boulden driving a 2014 Dodge Challenger on I-10 East and Lee Trevino shortly before 3 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2018.
Police said Boulden was not only speeding 70 miles per hour in a posted 60 mile per hour zone, but also “swerving from the right to left lanes.”
Officers stopped Boulden for the speeding violation and allegedly found Boulden to be intoxicated.
Once Boulden was in custody, police learned he had four previous convictions for DWI.
Boulden was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
