Police searching for woman involved in multiple burglaries

The El Paso Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who they believe is involved in multiple burglaries in East El Paso.

Police believe that on the night of Wednesday July 18, the suspect stole a “Louis Vuitton” designer purse, valued at $1,350 from the “Dillard’s” department store at Cielo Vista Mall.

On the night of July 28, the same suspect snuck into a hotel room at the “Stay Bridge Suites” located at 6680 Gateway East and allegedly stole the guest’s laptop

She also allegedly stole several bags of purchases that the guests had done while in El Paso, stealing a total of over $4,000.

Recently, on Aug. 5, the woman was seen walking into the “Cattle Baron” restaurant located at 1700 Airway.

She borrowed the phone at the hostess podium and allegedly stole a purse belonging to an employee that was stored in a shelf behind the podium.

Police the woman is described as White or Hispanic with light complexion. She has a medium build, is approximately 5’5″ in height, and uses prescription glasses.

The El Paso Police Department asks if anyone recognizes the woman to call Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 566-8477(TIPS) or visits their website, www.crimestoppersofelpaso.org.

Anyone with information eligible for a cash reward if they will remain anonymous and, if the tip leads to an arrest.
