Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders visit Sun City

Hundreds of El Paso Cowboy fans turned out to Starr Western Wear at Sunland Park Mall Sunday to meet three of the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, Khalyn, KhaShara, and Alexis.

“We have so many cowboy fans and so many of our actual cowboys are actual Cowboy fans, it just makes so much sense to bring them out here,” said Idi Zudanich from Starr Western Wear.

People of all ages waited in line sometimes up to an hour, the line winding through the store, as everyone hoped to meet the cheerleaders and get some autographs.

“Recently, with the start of preseason, I’ve been showing her the Dallas Cheerleaders. SHe’s old enough to kinda understand it, so I’m trying to groom her into a cowboys fan,” said gage Griffin, a Cowboys fan with his daughter.

The cheerleaders visited during Starr Western Wear’s third week in Sunland Park for about two hours.
The store, described as a destination store by staff, hopes to draw more people to the mall.

“We have a lot of faith in our community, we have a lot of faith in the people, and we know they’re going to support us here. We think that by being here and having such a vibrant, thriving presence here we’re going to help the mall out and we;re going to help the businesses around this area as well,” Zudanich said.
