UTEP Volleyball blanks Universidad Regional Del Norte
It was the first game of the UTEP Miner volleyball season out at memorial gym on Saturday.
The Miners took on Universidad Regional Del Norte.
The Miners took the first two sets by the identical score of 25-18 before finishing the match 25-13.
Jones had four total blocks which was a match high. Martine Kragholm added three blocks as well.
Haley Meshay and Austin had two services aces each.
Coach Watts had this to say after the match,”Today was a great opportunity for our team to see somebody different on the other side of the net.” Also adding, “We got to see a lot of different players on the court. It was a great chance for us to compete well, and to see a lot of different people take swings and get digs.”
