EPPD: Woman at Northeast motel had gun, meth, cocaine and pot

Police officers investigating reports of drug use inside a Northeast El Paso hotel room Wednesday evening allegedly found a woman in possession of cocaine, meth, marijuana and a gun.

Officers responded to the call at the Superlodge at 9487 Dyer at about 7:30 p.m. on August 22,2018.

An investigation revealed several individuals were inside a room at the Superlodge using illegal narcotics, police said.

Police said 40-year old Lacey Nikita Goldsmith was in possession of eleven grams of methamphetamine, five grams of Cocaine and small amount of marijuana. Goldsmith was also in possession of a 9mm handgun, police said.

Goldsmith was booked into the El Paso County Jail for Unlawful Possession of Firearm by Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), and Possession of Marijuana Under Two Ounces.

Police said Investigators recovered several glass pipes, a grinder and a scale. Goldsmith’s bonds totaled $25,300.
