Crime of the Week: Man killed by hit and run driver
The El Paso Police Department is asking the public for help in finding the driver who struck a man on the 7200 block of North Loop on Sunday night, August 5th, just after 9 PM.
Police say Juan Javier Aguilera, 44, was picking up his keys that fell onto the street when an SUV travelling eastbound in the right lane struck him.
The silver colored SUV did not stop and was last seen heading south on Dodge Road according to witnesses. Aguilera was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.
