EPPD hosts A day with your El Paso Police Department
Saturday the El Paso Police Department hosted a family friendly event at the El Paso Police Academy. The event was free, and open to the public.
People were able to meet police officers, learn about the bomb squad, the SWAT team, meet police dogs and more.
The event aimed at forming a relationship with the community, and allowing people to get a behind the scenes look at what goes into being a police officer.
One young girl who attended the event told ABC 7 that it was her dream to become a police officer.
