Socorro Independent School District hosts 2018 Walk for Success student call-out day
On Saturday, the SISD leaders, assistant principals, principals and school counselors gathered together for the annual Walk for Success call-out event.
The event is the SISD’s annual outreach event that wants to give students that have left school, the opportunity to re-enroll, and graduate with a diploma or earn a GED.
According to the SISD, since the outreach event started in 2013, more than 40 students have graduated, and more than 200 students have re-enrolled to continue their education.
