Sweet Play of the Week!
ABC-7 took a trip out to Conquest Stadium to see Raymond Montez and his Conquistadores — the players in this week’s “Sweet Play of the Week.”
Last Friday the Conquistadores took on the Hanks Knights out at Excalibur Stadium.
Montez scored with his arm, but what he did with his legs was even more impressive.
The quarterback had a 55-yard scramble. He bolted down the sideline to score a touchdown.
When asked what was going through his mind, Montez said, “Well I took off running down the field and I saw the cut back, so I cut it up field and saw two dudes ran through the tackles then ran to the end zone.”
The Conquistadores have a bye this week.
