Mariah Carey clarifies J. Lo diss:
Mariah Carey is finally explaining her infamous shade toward fellow entertainer Jennifer Lopez.
Years ago, Carey was asked about Lopez in an interview.
She responded by shaking her head and proclaiming, quote, “I don’t know her.”
That answer spawned numerous memes and gifs, even being called “Pop’s shadiest power move” by British newspaper The Guardian.
But now, Carey is trying to explain herself.
She told online music magazine pitchfork that she was simply, quote, trying to say something nice or say nothing at all.
As for the line going viral, Carey says you have to embrace its popularity, but she generally tries to stay away from having her words and actions dissected.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas tie the knot:
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are now officially married after a four-month engagement, According to people magazine, the couple wed Saturday in India.
Ralph Lauren designed a custom gown for the 36-year-old Chopra and dressed the entire wedding party, including the 26-year-old groom.
Wedding festivities began Wednesday and will continue into the weekend.
Vogue magazine reported that a Christian ceremony Saturday was officiated by Jonas’s father and a Hindu ceremony will take place Sunday.
