Woman charged with murdering boyfriend on trial Monday
The trial begins Monday for a woman charged in the stabbing death of her boyfriend.
Elizabeth Munoz is accused of the murder of Raul Robles, 31, in March of 2014.
Police said she she stabbed him repeatedly with his own tattoo needle. Robles died at Del Sol Medical Center.
ABC-7 archives show that in 2007, Munoz was found guilty of killing her common-law husband by stabbing him with a knife.
She pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to five years in prison.
For the death of Robles, Munoz faces five years to life in prison if convicted.
The trial begins at 9 a.m. in the 171st District Court.
