Horses spotted on I-10 have been corralled by Sheriff’s office

UPDATE: The horses that were seen running along I-10 were spotted by Sheriffs deputies and successfully corralled. A spokesperson for the sheriffs department told our ABC-7 crews that the horses were accounted for and taken care of by deputies on the scene, the area should now be clear.

Viewers have called into our news room reporting possible sightings of horses running along I-10.

Witnesses say five or six horses may be on the lose in the area.

Drivers should exercise extreme caution, look out and above all slow down.

The horses were reported between Vinton and the Transmountain area.
