Holiday Hoopla Tournament
The Mayfield High Holiday Hoopla ended Saturday.
The Coronado Thunderbirds from El Paso Texas took on the Las Cruces Bulldawgs in the Mayfield High gym.
Both teams fought their way to make it into the championship.
The Bulldawgs would go on a 9-0 run early in the first quarter.
The T-Birds battled back though out scoring Las Cruces in the last two frames of the game but it would not be enough.
The Las Cruces Bulldawgs win the Holiday Hoopla in a nail biter 68 to 65.
