Hudspeth County Sheriff’s Office investigates fatal crash
One person died in a two-vehicle crash in Hudspeth County Monday morning, according to authorities.
The crash happened just after 1 a.m. on U.S. 62/180 at mile post 72 near Hueco Tanks Rd.
In El Paso, U.S. 62/180 is known as Montana Ave.
An official with the Hudspeth County Sheriff’s Office told ABC-7 crews on the scene that the area will be closed off in both directions for hours Monday morning as officials clear the crash.
One person was sent to the hospital. The severity of the injuries was not immediately known.
Another person died on the scene, according to an official.
