TRAFFIC ALERT: Downed power line affecting traffic, hundreds of EPE customers
A utility pole knocked down at Interstate 10 and Paisano is affecting traffic in surrounding areas and knocked out power in west El Paso.
The intersection of Executive Center Blvd. and Paisano is closed until further notice.
El Paso Electric reported Tuesday an estimated 2,880 customers are affected near Sunland Park and I-10.
EPE said crews were called out to the affected areas to try and restore power as soon as possible.
