Transmountain Road shut down until further notice
The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office told ABC-7 Transmountain Road has been closed due to the weather and low visibility.
The highway will remain closed – east and west – until 6 a.m. Saturday, per TxDOT.
Police are working to clear a wreck involving an overturned semi truck on Transmountain, but the wreck was not the direct cause of the highway closure.
