A wreck involving a vehicle and a tractor trailer is affecting traffic on I-10 East near Piedras in Central El Paso.
The driver of a vehicle appears to have rear-ended the tractor trailer. Police dispatch transmissions indicate the vehicle is stuck underneath the truck, but the vehicle’s driver was not injured.
Initially, only the two center lanes were closed. Now, all of the eastbound lanes are closed. Police expect it will take two hours to clear the wreck.
If you are heading east, exit the freeway before Downtown and take Montana or the Border Highway instead.
