Local Immigration Attorney Discusses Asylum Process

Local immigration attorney Cynthia Lopez appeared on ABC-7 at Four Wednesday to discuss the process when immigrants show up at the U.S./Mexico border and ask for asylum.

She also discussed the difference between asylum and illegal immigration, and what she would do if given the opportunity to suggest how to fix the country’s immigration system.
