Document: UTEP student stored hundreds of child porn files, including bestiality file featuring girl
The UTEP student facing child porn charges allegedly stored hundreds of child porn images and videos in a Dropbox account, including a video featuring a girl and a dog, a criminal complaint affidavit obtained by ABC-7 states.
22-year-old Franklin Turza – a.k.a. Franklin Brehn – was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on 19 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and Possession with Intent to Promote Child Pornography.
Deputies with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office took Turza into custody at a residence on the 3400 block of Sun Bowl Drive in West El Paso on March 14, 2019.
The criminal complaint states Turza stored 350 images and 148 videos “that fall under the definition of child pornography” in a Dropbox account linked to the email address “littlemantarzan@yahoo.com.”
Dropbox is a video file sharing service that offers cloud storage.
One of the child porn videos featured a girl who appeared to be four or five years old with an adult male, the affidavit states. Another video featured a girl who appeared to be eight to ten years old with a dog, the same document states.
When a detective met with Turza, the suspect allegedly told the detective he had already deleted the files from his account and that he “had not made an attempt to view the files in over a year,” the criminal complaint states.
The detective then obtained a search warrant for the Dropbox account and the child pornography images and video were still stored in an account with the username “Frankie Turza,” the court document states.
Online jail records show Turza remains jailed on a $100,000 bond. Turza is a student enrolled at the University of Texas at El Paso, said a university spokesperson.
