ABC-7 at 4: Sheriff Wiles talks about latest arrest in Deputy Herrera’s murder
El Paso County Sheriff Richard Wiles spoke with Stephanie Valle about the second arrest in the murder of Deputy Peter Herrera on ABC-7 at 4 Monday.
Arlene Piña, 20, was arrested late Friday and charged with capital murder of a peace officer.
Wiles told ABC-7 that Herrera, who died March 24 after being shot during a traffic stop two days earlier, will be honored during Tuesday’s 3rd annual County Law Enforcement Memorial.
