Hyundai of El Paso raises money to Fill the Boot

The Hyundai of El Paso opened one extra day this week for a fundraiser to collect donations and to help fill the boot Sunday.

Benjamin Leeser, manager of the Hyundai told Abc-7, “We’re doing a special sale for the MDA.”

MDA is the muscular dystrophy association. MD is a group of diseases that cause the muscles to grow weaker over time.
For every new car sold, the Hyundai of El Paso will donate $100 to help fill the boot. The goal is $150,000.
“Its a very important cause-,we’re trying to find a cure for it,” said Leeser.

Right now, there is no cure for muscular dystrophy, but the money will help bring researchers closer to finding one.

The fundraiser also raises money for ALS and 41 other neuromuscular diseases.
