For 2nd day in a row, El Paso police issue alert for mentally-impaired missing person

For the second time in as many days, El Paso police on Thursday said a mentally-impaired person had gone missing, and they once again asked for help in locating the individual.

Police said 35-year-old Mario “Bogie” Frias, who suffers from seizures and mental illness, left his home in the 6800 block of Bellrose on Wednesday and has not returned since.

Frias is described as 5’9″, 240 lbs., with brown hair and eyes. Police said he wears glasses, has missing front teeth and walks with a limp. He was though to be wearing a black and red striped shirt with black jeans at the time of his disappearance.

Police asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to call 911.

On Wednesday, police issued a missing person alert for a woman with severe mental disabilities who walked away from an El Paso group home. She still had not been located as of Thursday evening.
