Car catches fire along I-10 near Geronimo
A car caught fire along I-10 early Wednesday morning.
It happened just before 6:20 a.m. on the westbound lanes of the freeway near Geronimo Drive.
The car was on I-10’s shoulder when ABC-7 learned it caught fire.
Firefighters were able to put it out about 10 minutes later.
Some lanes were closed due to the fire, but everything is now back open.
The El Paso Fire Department said no one was hurt.
