TORNILLO, Texas -- An active scene at the border when Mexican National Guard forces and federal police cleared what they believe was a high-traffic illegal entry point into the U.S.

The staging area was discovered this week at the border near Tornillo. Two extendable aluminum ladders and wooden ladders were found among other equipment in the area.

Officers confiscated the equipment they found in the high brush on the Mexican side. No arrests were reported.
