Fans encouraged to ride Sun Metro or El Paso Streetcar to 2019 Sun Bowl Game to avoid traffic stress

EL PASO, Texas--- If you plan on heading out to the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl Game on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 you can avoid the stress of traffic and parking by riding Sun Metro and El Paso Streetcar.

Sun Metro buses will operate direct routes from various locations around town. The routes will run from Downtown, East Side, West Side, Northeast, Mission Valley, and the El Paso Airport. The drop-off site will be located near the Glory Road Transit Center, located on the north end of the Sun Bowl Stadium.

Return trips will begin at the end of the third quarter. Fans will be picked up at the same location as the drop-off site for each of the routes. All location schedules and hours are listed on the website .

The El Paso Streetcar will service all 27 stops along the uptown and downtown loops with a drop off location at the Glory Road Transit Center, also on the north end of the Sun Bowl Stadium. Service hours and pick-up/drop-off locations can be found on by clicking here. The Streetcar is free to ride during this time.

The game between the Florida State Seminoles and the Arizona State Sun Devils will begin at 12:00 p.m.
