EL PASO, Texas - NAMIWalks Your Way El Paso brought members of the community together to support those struggling with mental health conditions.

According to the organization, Saturday's annual event raises funds for NAMI’s free, top-rated programs, as well as supporting awareness to eliminate stigma and work to strengthen the mental health community.

NAMI or National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation's largest grassroot mental health organization.

Their website says that NAMI is dedicated to "building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness."

The event was held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday morning at Ascarate Park.
