Montwood High senior awarded $40,000 scholarship, paid Amazon internship
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) -- A Montwood High School senior will soon be interning at Amazon. In addition to that new opportunity, Gael Sustaita is also receiving a $40,000 scholarship.
That money will allow Sustaita to study computer science or engineering at a university of his choice. It's called the Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship.
When he's not studying, he will be completing his paid internship with Amazon.
He's one of just 400 high school seniors to receive the prestigious award, and one of 52 students in Texas.
